Korda wins golf gold for U.S., playoff looms for Inami, Ko

American Nelly Korda claimed gold in the Tokyo Games women’s golf tournament on Saturday, finishing one shot clear of Japan’s Mone Inami and Kiwi Lydia Ko who are set to enter a playoff for silver.
Korda shot a 69 in the final round to close at 17-under for the tournament at Kasumigaseki Country Club in Kawagoe, northwest of Tokyo. Inami and Ko both shot 65 to get to 16-under and into a share of second at the end of 72 holes.
